Snack Catchers
Drive out into the countryside in Cambodia and check out those sheets of vertical plastic with a water container underneath standing in the rice fields. What are they? Generally they are snack catchers. They are linked up to a florescent light which is activated at night to attract insects. As the insects fly towards the light they hit the plastic sheet then fall into the water. Fried insects are popular local snacks and considered to go well with beer.
