We start our Angkor adventure with a visit to Angkor Wat temple easily the most famous and best-preserved of all temples within the Angkor complex. We then move on to Angkor Thom visiting Bayon, with its 54 towers decorated with more than 200 enigmatic smiling faces, Phimeanakas, Baphoun, Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King. We finish the morning with a stop at the very photogenic South Gate of Angkor Thom City where the gods and demons line the road leading to the gate struggling in a cosmic tug-of-war. The Gate itself is crowned with four large faces facing in the cardinal directions.
Lunch is Khmer style in a local restaurant. Regain your energy enjoying a sumptuous Khmer feast near Sras Srang, the Royal Pool of Ablutions, originally reserved for the King and his consorts. Enjoy a spread of great local food followed by a nap lazing in a hammock, or explore to see the traditional way of life and say hello to the Cambodians near here.
After lunch we continue our day tour by visiting the beautiful Ta Prohm (Tomb Raider) temple which was made famous by Angelina Jolie. Feel like one of the early explorers as you visit this temple which has been left to be reclaimed by the jungle.
If time permits finish the day climbing one of the oldest buildings in the Angkor complex, the brick pyramid-shaped temple of Pre Rup.

Mr Chanmol was a very knowledgeable and dedicated guide. Perhaps the whole day was a little too long in the heat & humidity and we were all flagging towards the end !
One suggestion - that you should provide cold water throughout the trip. We brought water along but used it up quickly in the heat

Had an excellent tour of the 3 key temples in the Angkor Archaeological park. Our guide, Keon LEE was excellent and very informative and even had good anecdotes to provide us a broad perspective of the history and culture of the Angor cities.

We had an excellent guide, Mr Chansarak Nuon, showing us all the historical sights with his expert knowledge and insights. It was a very memorable experience for us. The guide had a good command of English and was able to explain in detail about the history and the culture of the people.
Our driver was also fantastic. Very polite and drove in a very safe manner. We congratulate you for giving us a wonderful experience. Thank you.

It was great to get a local feel for things and an understanding of some of the economic and political elements of the area. I especially liked the opportunity to eat local foods and experience the place in a more friendly and personable way.

Randa was an amazing guide! Very knowledgeable about the history of the temples and carvings; he also knew the best way to avoid the crowds and the secret photography spots. It was like having the inside track – far better than any guidebook and much more fun!

We did a number of tours during our 2 weeks in Cambodia and Vietnam and this was by far the best, solely because our guide, Vantha was so fantastic. His knowledge was extensive and greatly enhanced the enjoyment of the tour, his language skills were excellent and he was a thoroughly nice person. Next time we come to Cambodia, we would do a tour specifically because he was the guide.

Sothy was a wonderful guide. He explained the history of the temples very clearly and was very knowledgeable about the various changes over the centuries.

Rong was a great guide. So enthusiastic & knowledgeable. Lunch was delicious. Good amount of time at each location. Would maybe have liked to spend a bit more time wandering around the ruins - but there is a lot to pack into the day so probably no time.

Dino was lovely, very engaging and great sense of humour. He knew so much about the temples and even assisted me in booking a night show to watch Apsara dancers after I saw images of them in the temples. Absolutely fantastic, wouldn't hesitate to recommend this tour and Dino as a guide :)
